Shrek The Musical
Sponsored by: Gail & Jeffrey Bayer | Bill, Lyndra & Christopher Daniel | The Drummond Family| Carlo & Dianne Joseph | Jean & John Oliver | MedHelp
Bring the whole family to Shrek the Musical for a one-of-a-kind, hilarious fairy tale in which curses are reversed, monsters get the girls, donkeys and dragons find love, and princesses are beautiful in all shapes and sizes. Unsocial ogre Shrek must leave his quiet swamp and venture out into the Land of Duloc for the first time. As he braves the cruelty of Lord Farquaad, the chaos of the fairy-tale citizens, a high-energy donkey companion, and a fire-breathing dragon, the scariest thing might be falling in love with Princess Fiona along the way.

Feel free to submit your questions for the guests by clicking on the QR code on the back of your program.

Our community partner for Shrek The Musical is STAIR of Birmingham, which seeks to improve literacy for 1st and 2nd grade students. Two afternoons a week, students come to STAIR where they build a relationship with a tutor who is focused on their individual literacy needs and partners with them to start their adventure in reading. When students become excited about and proficient in reading, they are 4 times more likely to proudly walk across their graduation stage!
