Morgan Smith*

Actor

Morgan Smith is an award winning actress of stage and screen. She began her career in New
York City as an original Off-Broadway cast member in Julianne Moore’s critically acclaimed
Freckleface Strawberry, earning both Outer Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel nominations. While
in New York, she starred in countless theatrical productions before becoming a fixture on
national television during her successful four year turn as “The Wendy’s Girl”. She starred in
over 200 commercials for Wendy’s as well as radio and print ads. Since then she’s starred most
notably as Candi Caruso in HBO’s Emmy Award winning comedy Veep (Seasons 5 and 6), as
series regular Shelby Fox opposite Craig T. Nelson in NBC’s reboot of the popular sitcom
Coach, and Agent Alison Rhymer opposite Michelle Monaghan in the Netflix political drama
Messiah. In addition she’s made several guest appearances in network television shows
including 9-1-1 (Fox), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Why Women Kill (CBS), How I Met Your Father
(Hulu), Manhattan Love Story (ABC), and Love in the Time of Corona (Freeform). Morgan splits
her time between Los Angeles and Birmingham, AL where she and her husband, David, reside.
She continues her work as an actress as well as a private coach, and is a proud member of the
Screen Actors Guild and *Actors’ Equity Association.
