As of January 1, 2023, all Red Mountain Theatre employees, contractors, board members, and volunteers are bound by a Child Protection Policy which maintains the strongest sense of integrity, safety, nurturing and care in all interactions with children and youth.

We follow safety protocols during check-in and pick-up periods.

RMT is committed to providing educational opportunities to all students and will not turn away students on basis of race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender (including transgender), or socio-economic status. RMT provides reasonable accommodations to the known disabilities of students in order to facilitate optimal learning.

RMT’s educators are Teaching Artists—highly skilled instructors who have both practical theatre experience and teaching experience. It is RMT’s intent that young people have a safe environment in which to learn and grow; therefore, we employ professionals who meet all of RMT’s safety and learning standards. Many of our guest Teaching Artists have been full-time professionals from Broadway and university programs.

Our Afterschool Classes are a great place to start. They only last a few weeks and are geared to meet the needs of the students in the class. Also, check out our seasonal Play Making, Theme Camps, Blast Camps and Bootcamps. As your child’s interests and skills advance, they can move up in our programming. We require students auditioning for our RMT Performing Ensembles or The Conservatory to have been part of a prior RMT program, so any of these that catch your student's interest are a great place to step in!

For safety reasons, all students must be dropped off and then picked up at the end of class. Many of our classes and camps end with a "sharing" for family and friends to see the performance skills learned.

It’s okay if students must miss one day of class. We do our best to make sure they get caught up on the material for that week. We do not offer make-up classes; misses are taken at the expense of the participant.

Tuition can be paid in full at the time of purchase OR you can set up an automatic payment plan through our registration website. Tuition must be completely paid by the time the class/camp begins.

(So if you register two months before a camp begins, you'll have 8 weeks to pay. If you register two weeks before a camp begins, you'll have those two weeks to pay. Payments for year-round programs like Performing Ensembles will be explained in your orientation packet.)

RMT Refund Policy

If a student is unable to attend a class, they may request a refund for:

• Up to 90% of their tuition if RMT is notified at least 7 days in advance of the start of the class.
• Up to 50% of their tuition if RMT is notified less than 7 days in advance of the start of the class.
• No refunds will be offered after the day the class starts.
