Our teenage students are serious about musical theatre. While some will go on to collegiate or professional careers in the arts, skills gained now will help develop poise, confidence, empathy, and perseverance in any field.
Blast Camps are week-long camps in which students get to experience a full musical theatre performance -- a short script with multiple song and dance numbers. As they memorize lines and choreography, students work together as a cast to present a sharing at the end of the week for supportive friends and family.
FOR AGES: 9-14
TIME OF YEAR: Camps run 1 week sessions during school holidays, usually spring, summer and winter breaks
BEST FOR: Kids who want to try out the stage and want to gain confidence in their new skills

Musical Theatre Intensive is a great way to jump into musical theatre in a hurry. This one week camp teaches all the musical theatre basics along with techniques, tips, and feedback.
FOR AGES: 12-16

EXPECT: An in-depth overview of the process, individualized game plan, and a prescreen package
PREREQUISITES: Applying to a collegiate level Musical Theatre program
RMT's Young Artist Productions are BY KIDS, FOR KIDS (though helped by theatre professionals). Through rehearsal and execution of high-quality musical productions, young performers are trained in technique and craft, etiquette and professionalism. Our young artists take pride in their hard work as hours of rehearsal culminate at show time.
FOR AGES: 9-18
TIME OF YEAR: We typically do 1 performance in Oct/Nov, 1 in April/May, and 1 in July
BEST FOR: Kids who want to commit to a full costumed musical
PREREQUISITES: Students must have a basic understanding of theatre and audition for a spot.
RMT's Performing Ensembles are an audition-only, tuition-based program for musical theatre performers who rehearse and perform all year round. Students 13-18 are grouped into will be grouped into "Spotlights" or "Headliners," and will perform in the Holiday Spectacular and the Performing Ensembles Spring Show.

BEST FOR: Serious theatre students who want to excel
PREREQUISITES: Requires previous RMT education program and audition
Practice like the pros do, with "Master Class Mondays." Each class will be two hours long and will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals in specialized topics.

BEST FOR: Kids who have a strong interest in an aspect of performing and want to improve.
