April Private Acting Lessons

Ages: 9+

Private acting lessons for four weeks; each week's lesson is 30 minutes long.  Students will work on solo acting skills using monologues and songs.  Lessons are scheduled between 5:00 and 7:00 on Tuesdays or Thursdays.  Once you have registered, you will be contacted to schedule your specific lesson.

Perfecting Your Audition – April 10

Students will work their triple threat skills, specifically focusing on nailing their auditions.  They will learn tips and tricks for picking up dances quickly, finding a great cut of a song, and connecting to their monologue.

Performing with Heart – April 10

Students will dive into the heart of musical theatre, which is singing and dancing while telling a story. They will learn to interpret the stories behind the songs in order to deliver honest, character-driven performances.  In this week’s class, students will learn “It’s Possible” from Seussical.

Using song and dance, young children have the opportunity to express themselves while they learn basic musical theatre skills. These classes are designed to cultivate inventiveness as students learn the basics of theatre through collaboration and creative play.  Let your future star come sing their heart out! In this week’s class, students will learn “Bear Necessities” from The Jungle Book.

Play Making: Royal Academy

Tap I (Ages 13-18)

Anyone can tap!  You just have to learn how to create different sounds with your feet, which is exactly what this class will teach.  This dance class will focus on introductory tap steps and is great for beginners!  Students need tap shoes for this class.

Storybook Theatre

The Scene is the Thing
