Important Ticket Information


All sales are final.
Season subscribers may exchange tickets 24 hours prior to the date printed on the tickets for another performance of the same production.

Individual ticket holders will be charged $4 per ticket to exchange, and any difference in ticket cost (discount codes do not carry over). This must be done at least 48 hours prior to the date printed on the tickets.

Please note NO REFUNDS. Season, schedule, and artists are subject to change.


Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or used retroactively. Discounts cannot be applied to Price Level 4 or General Admission shows unless specified.


If a performance is cancelled, you may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production. If tickets are unable to be exchanged, we ask that patrons consider making a tax-deductible donation of their tickets.


Unused tickets may be donated to the theatre for a tax credit if released prior to date and time on the tickets.


Tickets may be purchased at the theatre one hour prior to show time.


The RMT Mainstage and Discovery Theatre are both wheelchair accessible. Feel free to arrive early for special assistance and priority seating. For additional accessibility information, including assisted listening devices and sign language interpretation, click here.


Life happens – and we understand, but as they say, “the show must go on.” Our Patron Experience Manager will do their absolute best to seat latecomers as courteously as possible. Thanks, in advance, for your understanding that we may be unable to seat you in your previously purchased seats if you arrive after the show begins.


The use of cameras, video recorders, or recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited. All cell phones must be turned off or placed on silent mode during the performance.


Paid Parking:
RMT now offers TWO convenient parking options for events at our Arts Campus*
Option 1: Arts Campus parking lot on 3rd Ave. South (right side of the one-way street) - $15
Option 2: Children’s of Alabama surface lot on 3rd Ave. South (left side of the one-way street) - $10


*Both options must be prepaid and may only be purchased one at a time.

Street Parking:
Street parking is free and first come, first served.


All ticket policies apply to online purchases.



We love introducing kids to theatre! All children 2-12 are eligible for a reduced ticket price, and must be accompanied by an adult. (Kids 13 and older count as adults.) You are welcome to bring children under the age of 2 without a ticket as long as they sit on your lap. Any children who need their own seat must be ticketed. We have booster seats available -- just ask at the Box Office when you arrive!

Please note, we do want all patrons (young and old) to be courteous to actors and fellow audience members. If you need to comfort a child, there are several quiet areas in the lobby marked by signage. We simulcast the show to the TVs in the lobby, so adults won't miss the show.

If your child has trouble with sitting still for "big" shows, we suggest two options to introduce them to the theatre! Our Young Artist Productions (2-3 times a year) are 1 hour versions of Broadway musicals performed by 8-18 year olds. Education Programs

Registration is non-refundable. In case of inclement weather, RMT staff will make decisions based on local school systems and the safety of the participants involved. Classes will be rescheduled to make up time missed for inclement weather. All other missed classes are taken at the expense of the participant. All participants in our education programs must have an emergency medical form on file.
