Shronda Major is a native of Birmingham, AL. She received her B.A. in Theater Arts from Alabama State University. A few of her past theater credits include: Birmingham Children’s Theater production of George Washington Carver, Aldridge Theater Company’s For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide (Lady in Yellow), RMTC’s productions of Barnstormer(Bessie Coleman) The Color Purple (Squeak), The MLK Project (Principal/ Lawyer), While The World Watched (Busy Body) The Wiz (Ensemble), and Dream Girls (Michelle). Virginia Samford City Equity’s productions of Ruined as (Josephine) , Jesus Christ Superstar (Ensemble and Beggar Woman) and Aint Misbehavin (Charlene). She also performed with Terrific New Theater in the production of Split In Three as (Penny). She thanks RMTC for the opportunity to be apart of another great production.
