David Cook
Technical Director
Originally from Tampa, Florida, David A. Cook joined Red Mountain Theatre in December of 2017 as Assistant Technical Director. David has been involved in theatre arts for the majority of his professional career, and has found a home for his creative passion and craftsmanship here with RMT. Prior to starting with RMT he worked as a Stage Manager with the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts in Clearwater, Florida, as well as Busch Gardens Tampa. David also worked with Adirondack Studios Inc. installing scenescapes for the amusement park industry in several locations worldwide. His most recent work being on the Universal Orlando’s Fast n’ the Furious attraction as well as Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge. David apprenticed with several companies including the Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, Florida with a focus on theatrical electrics and set production. It is David’s goal to bring the best and most memorable theatrical worlds to RMT stages.
