A Letter from the President:
"The purpose of the Dress Circle Society is to promote the mission of Red Mountain Theatre Company through volunteer support of its educational and outreach programs, theatrical productions and fundraising efforts."
About five years ago, my daughter and I were invited by a friend to attend a Red Mountain Theatre Company production. With this one simple invitation, my eyes were re-opened to an amazing theatre company I had known and loved since I was a child. Only it was no longer called Summerfest. That was the day I became hooked on RMTC. Little did I realize then, my daughter was too! I joined the Dress Circle Society that evening and have continued to renew my membership each year in order to show my support for what I believe to be an organization so valuable to our community and one that consistently provides the finest musical instruction and musical theatre in Birmingham.
By joining the Dress Circle, I have met a new family of friends and had the chance to see first-hand the incredible opportunities this theatre company offers our children plus the outstanding musical productions they offer our community. I have also seen the work and dedication it takes behind the scenes. Being a member of the Dress Circle not only allows you to offer your support financially, but it offers a way for you to become actively involved. There is a membership level to suit every budget and payment plans are available as well. All of our members are invited to our fall membership party and other benefits include sneak-peek performances for upcoming shows, ushering opportunities, advance notice and priority seating, discounts on RMTC merchandise, and other special events throughout the year like our annual Gala!
On behalf of Red Mountain Theatre Company, I want to sincerely thank all of our current members for your loyal support and generous contributions which are so vital to the growth and continued success of this company. I would also like to encourage you to renew your memberships and to consider volunteering for one of the many opportunities available to Dress Circle members. If you are not already a member, please join our circle of friends and come find out what goes on behind the scenes at RMTC.
