Abijah Cunningham is a wife of 10 years to Kenneth Cunningham and a mother of two Kaleb (7 yrs. old) and Addison (5 yrs. old). Abijah started singing at early age and singing has become a big part of her life. She has been involved in a number of choirs and ensembles. Abijah was a featured soloist for Birmingham Empowerment “Moving 50 years Forward”, performed with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, one of the lead vocalist in “It Ain’t Nothing but the Blues”, cast as “Dorothy” in The Wiz, performed as “Lorrell Robinson” in Dreamgirls, as the “Narrartor” in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, performed as “Church Lady” in The Color Purple and also performed as the “Lead Soprano” in Beehive. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Psychology from Stillman College, where she also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She will continue using the gift s that God blessed her with, never failing to give him all glory, praise and honor that are due to him.
